I always thought "Why resize 720p, it's highdef as it is!" Well it is not, once you have seen what the resize filter can do. Select ffdshow (the one without DXVA) as video decoder in MediaPortal. Use the following options in the right part.Įnter the "Settings" Submenu of "Resize" on the left and choose Spline as Luma Method.
Look for "Resize" in the left part and tick it. Install ffdshow and start its Video Decoder Configuration (screenshots below)ġ) Enabling multithreaded codec (not necessary anymore, leave on "libavcodec")Įnter "Codecs", the uppermost element of the left part, and make sure ffmpeg-mt, the multithreaded decoder, is set as decoder for Format H264/AVC.
